Hello! I’m Lys - a designer, an artist, a creative, an optimist, and the kind of friend that sends you hand painted cards in the mail on your birthday. It’s lovely to meet you. After dancing between design jobs, and navigating life in the city for most of my twenties, I landed in a little coastal town in Sunny central Queensland, called Emu Park.

Emu Park is the kind of town they write about in cheesy romcoms - where you learn the names of everyone in the Post Office, and see the same people on your morning walk each day. It’s peaceful, and quiet, and I spend my days covered in paint, or potting mix, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

My father was a gardener, and my mum is a sewer and crocheter, and I inevitably adopted all of these hobbies (and some!) my Fiancé Josh and I live with our Spoodle Archibald, and we’re probably dreaming up some kind of holiday, or renovation, or sipping a coffee (or beer) together as you read this.
